Process
From first call to final walk.
Same five steps whether we’re emptying a packed two-car garage, hanging overhead racks or laying a new floor. No deposit to get a number, no crew showing up without a plan, and nothing happens in your garage without your OK.
Free quote
Tell us what you’re after and what’s in the garage now. Most jobs we can quote over the phone with a few photos and measurements. If it helps to see it, we come out, and that visit is free too.
Scope and estimate
You get the number in writing with what’s included spelled out line by line, so there’s no guessing about what’s in and what’s extra. Nothing gets ordered or scheduled until you approve it.
Dates and materials
Once you approve, we lock a date. Anything that has to be ordered goes on order then, and you get a firm install date as soon as it’s confirmed.
Work day
The crew arrives with everything the job needs. We protect what’s staying, keep the driveway workable and clear our own debris. How much of the day you need to be there depends on the job.
Final walk
You walk the finished garage with the crew lead before anyone leaves. Anything that isn’t right gets handled while we’re still standing there.
Work day
What step four looks like
The five steps above don’t change. What happens on the day does, depending on what you booked.
A day, start to finish
Everything comes out and gets grouped by category. You make the keep, donate and haul calls with us, pile by pile — that’s the part you need to be home for. What’s going leaves the same day, the empty garage gets swept and wiped, and what stays goes back in zones, binned and labeled.
A few hours
We locate and verify your ceiling joists, check clearance against your garage door track and your vehicle, then mount the racks level and torque the hardware. Slat wall goes on if it’s in your package. We load the first round with you so you can see how the weight should sit.
Park on it that night
The floor needs to be clear, so this is the easiest thing to pair with a reset. Tiles go down wall to wall over your existing concrete, cut clean around steps, posts and drains, with ramped edging finished at the door. No cure time.
Booked together, done in order
Most garages that get more than one thing get them in the same visit or back to back, and the order matters. The garage empties first, the floor goes down while it’s empty, racks and shelving go up next, and everything you’re keeping goes back last. Booking them together is cheaper than booking them apart, and it means moving your things once instead of three times.
Scheduling
How far out we book
Full Reset
Typically one to two weeks out, scheduled on a day you can be home for the sort. If you’re on a move-out or closing deadline, tell us the date and we’ll work back from it.
Overhead storage packages
The packages are stocked and prebuilt, so there’s no ordering wait. These are usually the quickest thing to get on the calendar. See the packages.
Shelving add-on
Ordered after you approve the wall layout, so lead time depends on how many units. We’ll give you a firm date at approval.
Click Tile Flooring
Tiles are ordered once you pick colors and layout, and we’ll give you a firm install date when they’re confirmed. Paired with a Full Reset, the floor goes down while the garage is empty, before anything goes back in. More on Click Tile Flooring.
More than one of the above
We schedule the whole thing as one job and sequence it so nothing gets handled twice. The longest lead time in the package sets the start date.
